My degree within the College of Humanities has been vital towards pushing me in the direction of my goal of working in the foreign service. With my time in the College of Humanities, I have developed the skills to learn from my histories as well as the histories of others. I have learned that human connection and human understanding are two of the only things that will push the world towards inclusivity and peace. This understanding has helped me to acquire an internship with the Department of State's Bureau of Consular Affairs and attend graduate school at King's College London with a degree in International Peace and Security Studies.
