Giulia Negretto is a PhD student in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching (SLAT) and a Graduate Associate of Italian at the University of Arizona. She holds an MA in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Ferrara, Italy, and a Master of Arts in Italian from the Middlebury College Language Schools, with a specialization in pedagogy and methodology. In Italy she taught Italian to migrants and international university students. Her research interests include Critical Pedagogy and Social Justice in the L2 Classroom, Multiliteracies, Materials Development, and Teacher Education.
