SITE Program

The University of Arizona Italian Program is a US Partner of the SITE Program in Lombardy. Every year we award 1 paid internship to one of our graduating seniors (BA in Italian).

What is the SITE program? The SITE (Study Intercultural Training Experience) Program is a paid internship opportunity for English-speaking teaching assistants placed in schools throughout Lombardy, Italy. It is an opportunity for recent graduates from US Universities who wish to get a better understanding of the Italian language and culture, while assisting local teachers and getting professional training on teaching methods. The SITE Program is coordinated by the Gentileschi State Technical Institute in Milan.
