Le Domande Silenziose was a project that I used to fulfil my honors requirement of Italian 201. The website includes a short introductory video, data comparing Italian and American prison demographics, some problems within the Italian (and American) prison system, a video further exploring these issues and their history, popular culture representations of these issues via an Italian comic, and links to additional resources. All text and video voice-overs are in Italian (with English translations).
Giuliana Wood
Giuliana Wood graduated with a major in History and minors in education (ACE), Southwest Studies, and Business Administration. In Fall of 2025, she will return for her M.A. in History and continue learning Italian (while also beginning Arabic). She loves learning, music, animals, the desert, and spending time with friends and family.
