I double majored in Italian Studies and Music Performance while at the University of Arizona, which offered me a multicultural perspective that I've carried through to a career in arts and culture. Since then, I've gone on to receive a Master's in Music at Boston Conservatory and an MBA at the Global Leaders Institute.

For several years, I served as the Education Manager and Marketing Manager for Silkroad—a non-profit and touring ensemble founded by cellist Yo-Yo Ma that brings together artists from around the world. I also work as a freelance artist, producer, and creative consultant, having founded my own agency, Almanak Creative, which works to support artists and arts organizations. Beyond that, I've had the opportunity to teach and present as a guest lecturer at Harvard University, Berklee College, New England Conservatory, and more, all of which was an outgrowth from my time studying and understanding arts, culture, and creative strategies.

The singular most important quality I gained from my education in the Humanities was being able to better understand and connect across cultures. My professional career has given me the opportunity to work with people from all around the globe, and learning how to reach across cultural differences was an important skill that continues to inform my daily life.
