My education in the Humanities has equipped me with a broad range of transferable skills that have prepared me for a professional career in museums, cultural heritage, and archaeology. Through my academic studies, I have developed strong critical thinking, analytical, and research skills, allowing me to interpret complex information, evaluate evidence, and communicate findings clearly to both specialist and non-specialist audiences. Completing a BA in Anthropology and Italian, followed by an MSc in Human Osteoarchaeology, has strengthened my ability to work with diverse sources of information, conduct independent research, and manage long-term projects under strict deadlines.
The interdisciplinary nature of my education has also enhanced my cultural awareness and appreciation for the importance of preserving and interpreting heritage. Studying Italian language and culture, alongside anthropology, has given me experience engaging with different perspectives and communicating across cultures—skills that are invaluable in public-facing and collaborative environments. Overall, my Humanities background has provided not only subject-specific expertise but also a strong foundation in research, communication, organisation, and critical analysis.
